Major Fentanyl Bust: Minneapolis Gang Members Indicted, 3.5 Million Lethal Doses Seized

Several members and associates of the Family Mob street gang in Minneapolis have been charged in a major fentanyl trafficking operation, with three indictments and two criminal complaints unsealed in the District of Minnesota.
Law enforcement conducted 14 search warrants and arrested multiple suspects, with collaboration among the FBI, Minneapolis Police Department, Hennepin County Sheriff’s Office and the DEA, and eight SWAT teams were involved.
The investigation is described as a multi-agency, coordinated effort aimed at dismantling the gang’s drug-trafficking network.
U.S. Attorney Daniel Rosen said the charges collectively amount to distribution of enough fentanyl for more than 3.5 million lethal doses in the last seven months.
Federal penalties for the charged individuals can reach up to life in prison on the most serious drug-trafficking charges.
DEA and FBI officials described the gang as operating since the 1990s, enforcing territory through intimidation and violence, and distributing narcotics across Minneapolis neighborhoods.
The charged individuals include Silk Lamond Davis, Alexisus Jarmon Mosby, Kiron Jamoll Williams, Rashshon Jamahl Taggett, and Lakendrick Darnell Gilliam, with additional arrests on related state charges bringing the total to 12.
Authorities allege the group distributed fentanyl, crack cocaine and other controlled substances in south Minneapolis, possessing with intent to distribute more than seven kilograms of fentanyl since July 2025 and running an open-air drug market around Lake Street and Park Avenue, using force to push out competitors.
