Apple TV 4K (2nd generation) and newer will gain Siri AI support, though it isn’t yet operational in tvOS 27.2 and is expected with the upcoming Apple TV 4K (4th generation).

tvOS 27.2 has been released for Apple TV 4K (2nd generation) and newer, with updates documented in Apple support materials rather than in Settings.

Screen saver improvements let users select specific iPhone photos to display and add a shuffle feature to rotate through screen saver categories.

FaceTime gains include direct join links from Apple TV, plus new accessibility options such as sign language interpreter services and captioning.

Industry chatter suggests Siri AI features could roll out to older devices alongside new releases.

A leakout hints at a November 13 event with a refreshed Apple TV 4K, a new HomePod mini, and a HomeView smart home hub.

tvOS 27.2 delivers bug fixes and critical security patches to improve performance and safety.

Find My updates enable locating the Siri Remote (2nd generation) with iPhone, while Precision Finding remains exclusive to the Siri Remote (4th generation).
