Samsung is gearing up to roll out One UI 9 with a major free feature upgrade across multiple Galaxy devices, including the Galaxy S26, S25, S24, S25 FE, and Galaxy Watch 8 Classic, with beta builds already under testing across these families.

Not every feature will be available on every device; some upgrades will be exclusive to newer flagships, while others, such as MyFanCam and Horizontal Lock, are expected to reach older models like the Galaxy S25 through the One UI 9 update.

Gemini Intelligence, Google’s agentic AI toolkit, may not arrive on all One UI 9 devices; the first devices to ship Gemini are likely the Galaxy S26 FE, which launches August 27, though Samsung and Google have not confirmed the exact cutoff.

Samsung is also planning One UI 9.5, which introduces My Custom Widget for a modular, data-driven widget experience sourced from Samsung apps, and this update is expected to ship with the Galaxy S27 next year.

Key features in One UI 9 include Now Nudge, My FanCam, Photo Assist with voice instructions, AI Privacy Alerts, an AI Assistant Activity log, plus a redesigned Quick Panel and a more capable Bixby for natural-language tasks.

The Galaxy S26 is nearing a stable release with Beta 6, while the Galaxy S25 series public beta appears imminent after passing Google Play Protect certification, signaling a near-term beta rollout for S25 owners.

Both the Galaxy S24 series and the Galaxy S25 FE are advancing toward their own public beta programs, though they lag slightly behind the S25/S26 lines.
