Insta360’s 360-degree X6 camera, coded CINSABXA, has just cleared FCC certification as of early July, signaling an imminent launch.

There are market rumors that the X6 will price between $549 and $599, though the official price has not been disclosed.

Industry chatter points to a formal reveal in August or September, with a first availability in early fall.

The X6 is expected to push the envelope with 8K video at 60fps and 10-bit color, leveraging larger sensors for better low-light performance compared to the X5’s 8K at 30fps.
