Samsung Unveils Major Galaxy Enhance-X App Update with New Features and Plugins
April 20, 2026
Samsung has refreshed the Galaxy Enhance-X app with a major upgrade to version 16.3.00.31, introducing a redesigned three-tab interface (Plugins, Home, History) and expanded editing capabilities for photos, videos, and documents.
A batch editing feature now allows processing multiple photos or videos at once, while the History tab continues to organize edited files in standard formats such as JPEG, MP4, and PDF.
The Home tab hosts core editing tools, the Plugins tab enables access to add-on enhancements, and the History tab tracks previously edited files, keeping edits organized.
Editing enhancements include new and improved photo tools like blur fixing, reflection removal, HDR, and sharpening, along with face-editing controls for smoothness, tone, eyes, and jawline, plus document tools for automatic cleaning, cropping of scans, and converting/combining files into JPEGs or PDFs with options to translate, draw, crop, and add text.
The update introduces a modular plugin system with three new plugins—CinematicGlow, FilmStyle, and SkyGuide—downloadable separately via the Galaxy Store and integrated into Enhance-X.
Samsung aims to evolve Enhance-X from a basic editor into a modular, flexible editing app while keeping a clean user experience, as demonstrated on devices like the Galaxy S26.
