The Xbox Games Showcase 2026 will feature first gameplay reveals and major news from first-party studios and partners, followed by a dedicated post-showcase event, Gears of War: E-Day, which is expected to launch in 2026.

Immediately after the showcase, fans will get a Gears of War: E-Day Direct—an in-depth presentation focused on the revival of Gears of War and its origins.

The event is scheduled for June 7, 2026, with a 60-minute Direct to follow the main showcase, and start times across regions set for 10:00 AM Pacific, 1:00 PM Eastern, and 6:00 PM British Summer Time.

In addition to online viewing, the event will be livestreamed with an in-person component in Los Angeles to celebrate the Xbox community, including a return of Xbox FanFest.

Expect trailers and updates for first-party titles like Fable, Halo: Campaign Evolved, and Minecraft Dungeons 2, with potential appearances from Clockwork Revolution, The Elder Scrolls 6, and State of Decay 3.

This year marks the first major Xbox event led by new CEO Asha Sharma, signaling a possible shift in emphasis and presentation for the platform.

Among anticipated 2026 titles are Gears of War: E-Day, Fable, and Halo: Campaign Evolved, all expected to surface during the event.
