Microsoft and Ericsson Launch Trusted Tech Alliance to Restore Trust in Technology
February 16, 2026
Microsoft and Ericsson are leading the formation of the Trusted Tech Alliance (TTA), a group of 15 major tech firms focused on restoring trust in technology and addressing data-sovereignty concerns.
The TTA operates under five core principles: transparent governance and ethical conduct; operational transparency with secure development and independent assessment; robust supply chain and security oversight; an open, cooperative, inclusive, and resilient digital ecosystem; and strict respect for the rule of law and data protection.
Members of the alliance commit to partnering with governments and customers to ensure emerging technologies deliver public benefits, foster cross-border trust, and spur job creation and economic growth.
The alliance was unveiled at the Munich Security Conference and aims to promote a trusted technology stack across connectivity, cloud, semiconductors, software, and AI.
Confirmed members include Anthropic, AWS, Cassava Technologies, Cohere, Ericsson, Google Cloud, Hanwha, Jio Platforms, Microsoft, Nokia, Nscale, NTT, Rapidus, Saab, and SAP.
