Facility owners and universities are invited to submit missing facilities or updates, every submission is reviewed before publication, and the atlas is accessible at mera.fit/atlas.

Notable verified facilities include Tromsø’s Arctic University of Norway lab for VO2max and lactate testing and CADI-UMAG at Universidad de Magallanes in Punta Arenas, Chile for CPET/VO2max, showcasing a mix of geographies and research integration.

Mera launched the Mera Metabolic Testing Atlas, a global directory listing more than 500 verified facilities across 100+ countries offering metabolic and physiological testing.

Beyond discovery, Mera’s platform aims to transform test results into digital reports, longitudinal athlete profiles, and clearer coaching analysis, linking testing locations to interpretation and performance insights.

The atlas maps global distribution gaps and key hubs, noting over 100 facilities in the United States and strong representation in Canada, Italy, the UK, Germany, Türkiye, France, Norway, Spain, Switzerland, and Australia, with weekly updates as facilities are verified.

Users can search by equipment and testing systems, helping coaches or physiologists find labs with specific metabolic carts, lactate analyzers, or muscle oxygen systems.

Facilities are categorized as performance, clinical, university, or longevity, with verification based on public sources for relevant testing; DEXA-only or imaging-only facilities are excluded unless they offer pertinent testing.
