100 Thieves Sweep Wildcard to Secure Singapore Major Spot in First CS Major Appearance
November 1, 2026
100 Thieves won the FiRe Last Chance final in Buenos Aires, beating Wildcard 2-0 and finishing the tournament with five wins and no maps lost.
The opening map, Cache, went to double overtime after 100 Thieves let several advantages slip, including a 5v2 in the pistol round, before Nicolai “device” Reedtz clinched it with a 1v1 clutch with three seconds left.
100 Thieves closed out the series on Dust2, a map where they had gone 17-1 over the previous three months, turning an 8-4 lead on the T side into a win with a 5-0 run.
The win lifted 100 Thieves to 18th in the Europe VRS and secured the region’s final spot in Stage 1 of the Singapore Major; HOTU’s second-place finish at GLuck Moscow Cyber Games also factored into the qualification outcome.
Device led the final’s statistics with 45 kills, 26 deaths and a 1.53 rating.
Device called qualifying for the PGL Major Singapore by winning FiRe Last Chance “really special.”
He also said the achievement brought happiness and relief after a difficult year in Counter-Strike, and was especially rewarding because he achieved it with his team.
The Singapore Major will be 100 Thieves’ first Counter-Strike Major appearance; the organization had qualified for the 2018 ELEAGUE Major Boston with the ex-Immortals lineup, but immigration issues prevented that team from attending.
The qualification will also mark the Danish AWPer’s 18th Major appearance.
