PGL Major Singapore: Europe Gets 18 Spots as Regional Invitations and Stages Are Set
October 30, 2026
The 32-team PGL Major Singapore runs from November 24 to December 13, with invitations and starting-stage placements set by each region’s Valve Regional Standings as of November 2.
Europe receives 18 places—six in each of the three stages—while the Americas get nine, split six in Stage 1, one in Stage 2 and two in Stage 3. Asia-Pacific has five places: four in Stage 1 and one in Stage 2. In total, 16 teams begin in Stage 1 and eight enter directly in Stage 3.
North and South American teams share one regional ranking, so results from across both regions affect the same pool of Americas invitations.
Compared with the IEM Cologne Major, Europe gains one place and the Americas lose one, though the Americas double their Stage 3 invitations. Asia-Pacific retains five places, but its highest-ranked eligible team starts in Stage 2 rather than Stage 3.
PGL Masters Bucharest, which concludes with its final on October 31, is the last tier-1 LAN before the standings cutoff; its results could move teams near regional boundaries into different starting stages. The November 2 cutoff also falls on the day IEM Beijing begins.
The three stages run November 24–27, November 28–December 1, and December 2–6. Playoffs follow at Singapore Indoor Stadium from December 10–13, with a $1,250,000 prize pool.
