LS Group held its 5th Future Day at LS Tower in Anyang on September 18 to explore AI-driven business ideas and future growth drivers, signaling a push to embed AI and Physical AI into strategy.

Nineteen projects spanning new business, technology, and innovation were announced, including AI-based cable manufacturing and a high-reliability power protection platform for AI data centers, with MVPs developed via AI coding and customer experience scenario videos created by presenters.

LS Electric highlighted the Integrated Photovoltaic Power Service Platform as a standout idea from the previous year, while LS Mtron advances seven tasks, including North American market-oriented compact tractors, toward commercialization.

Chairman Gu underscored rapid technological change and the need to integrate AI into products and services to deliver real customer value, as the event hosted an afternoon Future Forum with experts on talent development, AI application in industry, and manufacturing futures in the AI era.

The event aims to expand AI applications across the group, share successful case studies, and strengthen synergy among affiliates.

Outstanding project teams were named LS Futurists, with opportunities to visit Chinese industrial cities next year to benchmark technology trends.

Historically, LS Future Day has evolved from a Tesla-strategy focus to broader AI and geopolitical themes, identifying more than 500 ideas over five years related to batteries, next-generation power solutions, and AI, with ongoing efforts to commercialize them.

Over 500 employees attended, including Chairman Gu Ja-eun and senior executives, emphasizing applying AI and innovative capabilities to real business operations to boost productivity and profitability.
