GlobalLogic, a Hitachi Group company, unveiled the Test Automation Kit (TAK), an AI-native validation framework designed to tackle QA bottlenecks in telecom and streamline automated testing for fixed broadband and 5G FWA environments.

When a test script fails, TAK analyzes system behavior to propose workarounds, enabling repairs without rebuilding automation from scratch.

TAK builds on GlobalLogic’s broadband automation foundation to ensure reliability, security, and repeatability in the generated code.

The framework can orchestrate and validate broadband environments across both physical and virtual labs, covering traditional fixed broadband gateways and 5G FWA customer premises equipment (CPE).

GlobalLogic has contributed to the RDK broadband ecosystem since 2019 and is a Preferred Plus Member, working across 5G, GPON, and DSL to integrate software and features.

TAK is positioned to interpret feedback, adapt in real time, and self-heal by executing generated code in authorized lab environments, addressing the current pain points of slow, maintenance-heavy testing.

TAK uses Agentic AI to translate plain-English test requirements into executable Python scripts, enabling non-specialists to generate ready-to-run tests and accelerate validation cycles.

The goal is to accelerate release cycles, expand validation coverage, and improve the reliability of connected experiences by moving from intent to execution faster.

TAK leverages GlobalLogic’s software footprint across more than 50 million connected devices, aiming to bridge development and validation gaps as technologies like Wi‑Fi 7 and 5G FWA evolve.

TAK supports automation maintenance by regenerating and adapting test scripts as CPE UI, APIs, or implementations change, while preserving the original test intent.

TAK features AI-assisted diagnostics for CI failures via a multi-agent architecture that analyzes results, identifies root causes, and surfaces actionable insights from logs.
