Users can craft workout routines using natural language, specifying days, exercises, and warm-ups, and the app will generate, manage, and tweak schedules through prompts like moving days or removing exercises.

SmartGym 8 deploys SmartGym Intelligence, a private cloud compute AI framework that runs on SmartGym’s own infrastructure and uses Apple’s Language Model APIs while keeping user data anonymous and not used for training.

New features include on-device image analysis for movement guidance through exercise questions, a more responsive resizable UI across devices, and broader Liquid Glass design elements throughout the app.

This release represents one of SmartGym’s largest revisions, positioning it as a robust, AI-powered gym-tracking app that leverages iOS 27, iPadOS 27, and watchOS 27 capabilities while remaining independent from Apple’s Private Cloud Compute.
