Google is rolling out AI-powered conversation modes for its apps, introducing Gmail Live, Docs Live, and Keep Live to manage Gmail, Docs, and Keep via natural dialogue.

Gmail Live surfaces inbox information by answering questions with summarized results and source email links, and supports follow-up questions without restarting the conversation.

Docs Live and Keep Live are available on AI Pro and Ultra plans, with Keep Live Android-only and Docs accessible on both iOS and Android; Gmail Live arrives on iOS and Android for eligible plans.

The rollout aims to help users access and organize information hands-free, especially when on the move or unable to type.

Workspace business customers will see these features coming soon.

Keep Live enables natural, contextual note transcription and organization, letting users add items like a pesto shopping list from spoken input without needing special commands.

Gmail Live can pull in information from your inbox and provide summarized results with links to source emails, supporting follow-up questions within the same conversation.

The features were previewed at Google I/O in May and are now rolling out to mobile platforms globally in English, starting today.

Docs Live helps convert conversational descriptions into structured documents, such as summaries or business proposals, and can pull information from Gmail, Drive, Chat, and the web when allowed.
