She helped oversee the OECD AI Principles, the world's first intergovernmental standards for AI governance, initially adopted in 2019 and updated in 2024.

While the OECD definitions aren’t perfect, they remain the only established governance framework used by 46 governments.

She also runs the OECD.AI Policy Observatory, which catalogs AI initiatives worldwide and maintains a network of AI experts from academia, government, and industry.
