A multi-year partnership has been announced to embed Claude into Xero and link Xero’s financial data with Claude.ai, enabling real-time insights for small businesses and their accounting teams.

Xero has launched a live integration with Anthropic’s Claude to enable real-time financial intelligence within Claude-powered workflows.

Xero serves over 4.9 million customers worldwide and offers automated bank reconciliation, invoice reminders, trend analysis, customizable reporting, and connections to more than 1,000 third‑party apps.

Xero is led by CEO Sukhinder Singh Cassidy and has a Finovate pedigree dating back to its 2006 founding.

Claude can surface actionable insights by pulling Xero data into conversations, helping users review reports, examine invoices, and understand assets, liabilities, and cash flow.

Executives say the integration enables real-time decision-making by incorporating cash position, overdue invoices, and profitability into everyday workflows.

Users can access cash position, overdue invoices, revenue and profit tracking, and other financial metrics directly within Claude without leaving their workflow.

This marks the first time Xero customers can work with their financial data inside an AI platform, reducing manual tasks and streamlining workflows at scale.

Active Xero subscribers can start using the integration immediately, with Claude delivering insights directly to Xero users during Claude discussions.
