Experience AI offers free classroom resources—lesson plans, activities, and teaching materials—developed with Google DeepMind, focusing on data use, AI-driven misinformation, and responsible use of generative AI tools.

The Foundation emphasizes a holistic approach to AI education, asserting that access to tools must be matched with knowledge, skills, and confidence to understand and create AI technologies.

The program was named a laureate of UNESCO’s 2025 King Hamad Bin Isa Al-Khalifa Prize for the Use of ICT in Education.

The regional rollout targets Latin America and the Caribbean—Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, the Dominican Republic, El Salvador, Mexico, Peru, and Uruguay—using a train-the-trainer model and local education partners to scale teacher development.

Globally, Experience AI already reaches about 2.9 million young people and 30,000 educators, with resources used in more than 180 countries and available in 19 languages.

The program centers AI literacy and critical understanding, enabling students to build their own AI applications while examining the social and ethical implications of AI.

Raspberry Pi Foundation is expanding Experience AI in Latin America with a $4.6 million Google.org grant to train educators and reach students by 2028.
