Securitize Expands Solana Tokenized Stocks to 25 as SOL Slips 3.5%
November 2, 2026
Securitize added 13 U.S.-listed companies to its Solana-based tokenized stock product on Nov. 2, bringing the lineup to 25 after launching with 12 stocks. The offering is available to eligible investors in the United States, the European Union and other permitted jurisdictions.
The expansion puts share-backed tokens on infrastructure already used by DeFi traders, and Securitize has not reported trading volumes for the 13 newly added stocks.
Each token represents a security entitlement to a share held in custody, with applicable dividends and voting rights; holders are not listed directly on the company’s shareholder register, and the underlying shares are not lent out.
Trades settle in USDC, with Jump Trading supporting liquidity, and secondary trading is handled by an SEC-registered broker-dealer that is a FINRA and SIPC member.
Trading already extends beyond regular U.S. market hours, while Securitize plans to move toward 24/7 access but has not announced a launch date.
Securitize says the product operates under existing securities laws and does not rely on the SEC’s Innovation Exemption; potential trading on the NYSE’s planned 24/7 venue and the upcoming OKXICE venue remains contingent on launch, regulatory approval and other requirements.
Securitize says holders may be able to convert entitlement tokens into shares on an issuer’s register if the company adopts issuer-sponsored tokenization, and reported about $5 billion in tokenized assets on its platform as of Sept. 30, 2026.
Across Solana, non-stablecoin real-world assets totaled about $5.1 billion as of Nov. 2, up 17% in 30 days, with Securitize accounting for about $1.1 billion.
Other ecosystem figures included record stablecoin card spending of $141 million in October—about seven times the year-earlier level—nearly $300 million in Q3 app revenue, $197 billion in spot DEX volume, a $17.51 billion stablecoin market capitalization and nearly 2,900 Colosseum Frontier project submissions.
Those positive indicators did not prevent a short-term price decline: on Nov. 3, SOL traded near $92, down 3.52% over 24 hours, as trading volume climbed about 50% to $2.69 billion.
StoneX analyst Mark Palmer said the DTCC’s new tokenization service validates rather than threatens Securitize, arguing that the permissioned, limited system serves a different market from Securitize’s public-blockchain assets that can connect with decentralized finance.
Key milestones ahead include the NYSE venue’s launch and token listings, progress toward 24/7 trading, adoption by underlying issuers and whether stablecoin card spending continues to grow.
