ACE targets drivers who block bus stops, drive illegally, park, or double-park in bus lanes, and the expansion adds to the existing coverage of 60 routes across all five boroughs.

More than 1,900 buses are now equipped with ACE technology, with some segments of ACE routes seeing bus speeds improve by nearly 30%.

The program aims to ensure buses can operate efficiently and arrive on time by discouraging improper bus-lane use.

Each ACE-equipped route now has signage indicating it is camera-enforced, and violations carry fines starting at $50 and rising to $250 for repeat offenders.

The ACE bus lane program was expanded to two additional routes in Queens and Brooklyn, specifically the Q60 and B12.

Since its launch in June 2024, ACE has expanded citywide from a few routes to all five boroughs, delivering faster bus speeds, fewer traffic incidents, and clearer bus stops for riders.
